THE TRANSITION TO WATERBORNE PAINT SYSTEMS IN ORDER TO REDUCE VOC EMISSIONS

In view of growing environmental pressure in China, this forum will address and discuss the issues being faced in the transition underway to waterborne paint systems.
Discussion topics will include: the economic impact to factories and buyers of using waterborne paint systems; paint system options; the effect on volume of production; technical challenges encountered so far such as ‘flash rust’ and how these will be overcome.
The goal of the transition to low VOC paint systems is to help improve air quality in China whilst providing buyers with high quality containers so please join this forum to hear and discuss how the industry will achieve this goal.
